It may sound strange, but giving away my organic waste feels good! Today I’m giving away a bag full of home made soil. I’ve previously posted about it, and I will surely write more about it.
My soil factory has already produced around five bags of soil since I started with this kind of composting. I mixed the first fermented waste with my old composting in June. The whole process goes amazingly fast and with no bad smells. I do always keep enough soil in the factory to cover the fermented organic waste. In a couple of days I’ll put another bucket of fermented waste into the factory. So in a couple more weeks I’ll have even more soil ready for my next year balcony crops 😊
I strain the soil before storing it in bags, so the lumps and bigger waste rests are left in the factory until they’re completely turned into compost.
