Being surrounded by nature is how I recharge, but what about my gadgets?
I’ve used lots of different cameras in my life. And to be honest, I love using my phone as a photo and video camera. It’s so portable and has so good quality, not to mention the ability to process the captures. So my phone has become my main working station. I do also have a 360° video camera, a 360° audio recorder and some flashlights. So I need electricity for my gadgets. I have three power banks and use rechargeable batteries for my audio recorder. But what when my power banks are empty? Then I use my Biolite CampStove 2. Burning only wood, the CampStove 2’s fan creates a smokeless fire that can cook meals and boil water in minutes while turning its heat into usable electricity. I do also have two portable solar chargers that can charge up to three devices simultaneously each. I’m waiting for a WaterLily, a portable river turbine with a blade design that works in wind and a hand crank to generate power in emergency situations. Hope to get it in time for my Bodø trip.
All this equipment gives me the freedom to take my atelier wherever I want to, it’s light and takes little space.
